Traditional Carriage Driving: Art, History and Sport
Traditional carriage driving is a discipline that combines elements of history, elegance and precision. Participants not only have to demonstrate their ability to drive a horse-drawn carriage, but also ensure that everything from vehicles to costumes reflect the spirit of the era from which it originated. Every detail is evaluated, ranging from the drivers’ costumes to the technical and aesthetic condition of the carriages, making the traditional carriage driving competitions not only a sports challenge, but also a spectacle full of vintage charm.
This year’s competition in Celle is an opportunity to see the best carriage drivers from all over the world in action. The city, renowned for its rich history and beautiful architecture, provides the perfect backdrop for such an event. Participants will be competing in several categories, which assess driving precision as well as style and compliance with tradition. More information about the competition can be found on the official website of the competition organiser: https://www.dtv-tradition.de/

Jagodne: Polish representative at the International Arena

This is not only a great honour, but also a chance to gain valuable experience and build his position in the world of traditional carriage driving. The presence of a Polish representative at such a prestigious event is also a promotion of our native tradition and culture in the world of horse sports.
